Review

Billionaire’s Bet was an okay read for me. Not going to lie, it’s a little cliche with the billionaire life, but, I love the originality of the story. It seems to have it’s own story plot. Having someone who used to live in luxury and fame suddenly had to live on their own, it’s kinda different for me. However, the bet doesn’t seem realistic to me so I found it a bit funny and ridiculous. But, the ending definitely shocked me! I was never expecting that.

I personally love the characters. I love how cute Ben and Delaney was. They’re perfect each other. The side characters also compatible and makes the story lively. I adore the setting because I can dive into two different worlds, in fact, it happens in our lives.

Overall, I’d like to say that I enjoy reading this story. I love clean romance. I think this perfect read for someone who was looking for something light and sweet. It’s perfect for one-sitting reading because it is short stories. So, I’d RECOMMEND this book.

I’d like to thank Adelia Burke and Delaney Earl for sending me an eBook copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you so much for reading my review. Till next time.

SUMMARY

Join the residents of Winslow Island for a fun-filled, opposites-attract, sweet romance – full of piggyback rides and scrumptious baked goods.

It might be Winslow Island’s annual Matchmaking Festival, but Tessa has more important things to worry about, like how to keep her mother’s bed and breakfast in business.

Parker’s life is as precise and planned as the surgeries he performs. He’s on track for a career-making promotion – if he can improve his bedside manner.

When his mother plans a family celebration for the same weekend as the Matchmaking Festival, Parker suspects he’s in for a series of sneaky setups. But with his promotion fast approaching, he has no time for distractions – until Tessa crashes into him in a shower of glitter, wreaking havoc with his plans and his heart.

With a temper as fiery as her red hair, she’s a distraction too tempting to ignore.

Tessa is determined to resist Parker’s charms – even if his smile makes her toes curl. He’s only on the island for five days, and she won’t risk a broken heart. But with the festival in full swing, resisting Parker is proving harder than she expected, especially when he becomes the key to saving her mother’s business.

REVIEW

It’s a sweet, light, cute and clean romance, which I’m fancy of. The story was so interesting even though there’s a little bit flaw that I’ve found for example, like it’s pretty clichΓ¨ but I like it. I think it’s relevant to the contemporary romance genre. I love the setting. I really hope the island exist! I also love the characters, I ship them a lot where a bright girl named Tessa meets an arrogant and cold-blooded doctor, Parker. I adore the interconnected stories between them, I don’t how many times I’m flushed every time I read their scenes. I’d say that the characters were so compatible.

If you are looking for light and breezy romance, I’d recommend this book for you to read. It’s something cute and light to pamper your heart. Anyway, the book is finally out and congratulations Chrissy Elliot!

Review

Truth be told, I’m not a big fan of romance, but it doesn’t mean that I despise romance. I think romance is such a seasoning spice to add in any kind of genre, even there’s romance in the horror genre, amirite?

Okay, let’s get back to A Guarded Love! It’s a simple, quick pace story, so sweet and dreamy. I’m not going to lie, there’s a little flaw but it doesn’t ruin the whole plot. If the story a little much longer I’m gonna love it! On couple first pages, I thought it’s cliche, but it’s well-developed, there’s a twist. I love the flow. There’s a suspense and you may see the love progress. It’s also about how you regain your trust in a relationship.

I love the hero of this book, Landon Ross. He’s such a sweet guy. So protective and responsible. I love the development of the chemistry between these two main characters. Landon is such a perfect partner for Kristin. I’d like to say, she’s lucky!

I’d RECOMMEND you to read this if you have ever dreamt of dating a celebrity. It’s so cute and sweet!
